About the event

Awakenings Festival 2026 brought three days of techno to Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek, from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July. Its festival programme ranged from house and melodic techno to driving techno and hard techno, with Azyr and DYEN in Saturday’s Area Y.

Minimum age: 18+. Valid government-issued ID was required.
Re-entry: Re-entry was not permitted.
Last entry: No admission during the final two hours before each festival closing time.
Camping: The campsite opened Friday 10 July at 12:00 and closed Monday 13 July at 10:00. Camping and its night programme were separate from festival opening hours.
Entrances: North: Beekse Bergen. South: Leisenweg. The entrance shown on the ticket determined where to arrive.
Lockers: Festival lockers were available; campsite lockers required advance booking.
Payment: Food and drink used tokens, purchased with cash or card.
Ticket options: Day tickets, a 3-day No Stay ticket and camping options were separate products. Premium access added fast-lane entry, the Area V viewing deck and the Awake Hangout; food and drinks cost extra.
Tilburg shuttle: Shuttles linked Tilburg station with the festival and separate camping stops. The station stop was at the north exit on Burgemeester Brokxlaan. The journey took about 20 minutes, with queues after closing.
Last return shuttle: The published shuttle service ran until 02:30 on Saturday 11, Sunday 12 and Monday 13 July. Monday’s campsite departure service ran 08:00–12:30. These were bus service hours, separate from the festival. Train connections required extra time for lockers, walking and queues.
Taxi and pick-up: The taxi area used Beekse Bergen 1. Kiss & Ride and Uber pick-up used Kommerstraat 1, reached via the South exit; this was separate from the festival entrance.
Accessibility: A low-stimulus room with seats and noise-cancelling headphones and a Handicap NL care room were beside First Aid. Outdoor paths and ramps served the areas, but Area A was not wheelchair accessible. Accessible toilets and parking arrangements were available.
Food and water: Festival and campsite food was vegetarian. Free drinking-water taps were available at the toilets.
Bags and assistance: Bags and jackets had to be stored in lockers. First Aid and a Social Safety Hub were available; earplugs were sold at the festival.
