NIKOLINA

NIKOLINA is a DJ and producer from Germany. Her route into DJing began on the dancefloor, where she wanted to create for others the moments she experienced as a raver.

NIKOLINA is a DJ and producer from Germany whose approach began with a close connection to the dancefloor. Music was already a means of self-expression before she started DJing. Experiences at the front of the crowd led her to want to create that connection from behind the decks.

Schranz is central to her style: repeating rhythms and weighty beats create sustained movement, with changes in energy giving a set its emotional direction. Her recorded performances in the collection include solo sessions and shared sets with O.B.I., offering different ways into that sound.

NIKOLINA plays driving hard techno and Schranz. Repeating rhythms and heavy beats keep the pressure continuous, while shifts in energy give the set an emotional shape.

NIKOLINA moved from the front of the dancefloor to the decks. Her early development was connected to the NAKT community in Berlin, whose creative network encouraged her first performances. NAKT’s 2021 Open-Air recording captures that early period.
