Track-ID suggestions

When you suggest a track ID, we store the recording and timestamp, suggested artist, title, version, release link and optional note in a private database hosted by Cloudflare. We use these details to review the identification and update our tracklists. Your submission is not published automatically. No name, email address or account is required; please do not include personal details in the note.

To limit spam, we temporarily keep a daily, one-way code derived from the connection address. The raw address is not stored with your suggestion. During submission processing, codes older than two days and suggestions older than 180 days are cleared. Accepted track facts can remain in the public catalogue.

Visitor analytics and your choice

On ergonine.com, ERGONINE uses Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. It helps us understand visitor numbers, pages viewed, traffic sources and engagement. Before you accept, or if you reject analytics, the Google Analytics script does not load and we send no analytics measurements to Google.

If you accept, Google receives page views, browser and device information, referral information and the connection information needed to deliver its service. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) distinguish visits and expire after up to 180 days. We strip URL query strings and fragments from the page and referral URLs we send. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled; we do not send visitor names, email addresses or account identifiers to Analytics.

Your accept or reject choice is saved in your browser for 180 days. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it at any time. Rejecting after acceptance stops collection, removes this site's Analytics cookies and reloads the page. This does not delete data already collected. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page session. Local development and preview domains do not send analytics measurements.

Music players

Selected artist profiles include a Spotify player. It loads as you approach it on the page, before you press play. Spotify receives connection and device information when its player loads and may use cookies or similar technologies under its privacy policy. Playback availability is controlled by Spotify.

Live sets are hosted by YouTube. The embedded player loads after you press play or choose a timestamped track, using youtube-nocookie.com. The set player also loads YouTube's IFrame API from youtube.com to seek within the recording and highlight the current track. YouTube receives connection and device information when these services load and may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies.

Recording preview images originate from YouTube and may load before playback. ERGONINE does not request access to your YouTube account. Public video statistics are retrieved separately; they do not give ERGONINE access to your personal viewing history.

Playback and your browser

Playback position and player controls are held in memory while you browse the website. ERGONINE does not save a listening history or shopping bag in your browser. The Pulse runs locally and does not access your camera, microphone or location, or collect physical measurements from you.

Website hosting

The public ERGONINE website is delivered through Cloudflare. Website requests include technical information such as IP address, requested URL and browser information, which the hosting service processes to deliver and protect the website.

ERGONINE does not operate visitor accounts, a checkout or a mailing-list registration service on this website.
