Biography
Klaudia Gawlas is a German techno DJ and producer with Polish roots. Her early musical life involved keyboards and guitar, followed by computer-based production. During an exchange stay in the United States hip-hop culture and turntablism helped shape her approach to DJing. In 2008, winning a Raveline mixtape competition led to an appearance at Ruhr-in-Love. Papillon, released in 2013, became a breakthrough record. Her subsequent appearances have included Time Warp, Mayday, Nature One and Awakenings, with sets built around rhythmic drive and tension.
Alongside releases on Redimension and Suara, she ran MOD with Eric Sneo. In March 2023 she launched her own label, Illusion, with YDK, creating a home for her productions and music by other artists. Her 2026 catalogue includes Memory Reset, the No Exit Pattern EP with Cristian Glitch and the Last Notice EP. Released on 19 June, Last Notice pairs its title track with Segundo, offering two extended pieces of peak-time techno.
