DJ Tim

DJ Tim is Tim Hoogesteger, the DJ and producer who collaborated with DJ Misjah on the 1995 acid-techno record Access. The two began working together after sharing a job at a club, bringing Tim’s Detroit-techno influences into their studio sessions. Their releases on X-Trax and its related catalogue include Access, Scrumble, Purple Road and X-Tension. Misjah’s account of their recording process describes live adjustments at the mixing desk, with much of their work recorded directly to DAT.
