The Pulse

In Ergonine’s world, the Pulse is a shared rhythm beneath motion. Its reference is 156 pulses per minute. On a dancefloor, repetition and collective movement give that connection a physical form: resonance.

ERGONINE developed the P-01 to retain that reference alongside local time and date. The pulse hand advances once per pulse. The dial displays its rate; Pulse Time retains the running count.

PULSE TIME · LAST SIX DIGITS—EARTH TIME (LOCAL)—

The compact Pulse counter shows the final six digits of the running count, grouped in pairs. Each pair advances from 00 to 99.

Each pulse advances the hand by 6°. Pull the crown to position 1 to set local time: turn slowly for minutes, faster for larger changes. The date follows when you cross midnight. Position 2 sets Pulse rate. Push the crown fully in to retain the settings. Rate adjustment preserves the running count. The three conventional hands follow the displayed local time, with one second indicated per step of the seconds hand.
